We’re Uniting this World Cancer Day to support Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research
Here at Scrap Car Comparison, we are proud to be raising money for and awareness of some of the biggest issues facing the world at the moment, and with that in mind we are delighted to once again be supporting Cancer Research UK for World Cancer Day.
4 February is World Cancer Day – a day that unites people, communities and entire counties to raise awareness and take action against cancer. Cancer Research UK’s scientists are making groundbreaking discoveries about cancer that open up new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
Their work has helped double cancer survival over the past 40 years, and every day they break new ground. The funds raised by incredible people like you will support thousands of scientists, doctors and nurses to accelerate progress in the fight against over 200 cancer types.
Across the first two weeks of February you’ll be able to help raise money for Cancer Research UK every time you scrap your car through our Donate-A-Car Scheme. You can choose to donate as much or as little as you wish, and anything that you are able to give will be greatly appreciated and you can be safe in the knowledge it’ll be helping fund life-saving research and change lives around the world.
