Scrap Car Comparison is delighted to support RoadPeace as our featured charity throughout July, in support those bereaved or seriously injured on the roads.
In 1992, RoadPeace was founded by Brigitte Chaudhry MBE following the death of her son, Mansoor, due to a driver ignoring a red light.
Brigitte soon noticed that those killed on the roads were treated very differently to victims of other types of violent death.
A membership organisation, RoadPeace’s work is informed by the needs and experiences of road crash victims. It is governed by a board of trustees, with work carried out by a small staff team and a vast network of members and volunteers.
RoadPeace’s vision is for a world where road danger is not tolerated and where road crash victims receive justice and compassion.
You can help RoadPeace achieve this vision by choosing to donate through our Donate-A-Car scheme. When selling your car with Scrap Car Comparison, you can choose to donate some – or even every single penny – of the profits to our featured charity.
We’ve worked with some of the biggest charities in the country and raised thousands of pounds towards important work across a huge spectrum of causes.
For further information on how this scheme works, we’ve put together a handy FAQ document, which can be found here.
